Riding Parties for Children

Does your child love ponies, then what about a fun pony party for their next birthday or special occasion.  The parties are designed around your child and your budget with a range of options and extra’s available.

We run our parties every Sunday and all bookings must be made a minimum of 4 weeks in advance to ensure we are able to plan, cater and have your child’s special day well thought out and planned around your requirements. 

So, the pony part…..

The pony interactive part of the party is 2 hours in duration, during that time the children will spend time with the ponies and staff and learn:

  • How to move safely around the ponies and the importance of safety around ponies and horses
  • Spend time brushing and grooming
  • Assist in tacking up the ponies
  • Have fun activities on the ponies, riding games and having horseback related activities.
  • Special gift for the birthday child.

We cater to all budgets….

Our party range is varied to cater for all budgets.  Our parties range from arena side parties to fully catered parties hosted within the main house with catering staff and everything taken care of for you.  Below are the party options which can be booked.

If you wish to just come for the riding component then this is very easy, it is a 2 hour program which can be morning or afternoon and guests can sit in the viewing area and enjoy the festivities.  You are welcome to bring drinks and a cake though we ask that you bring all your own plates and cutlery and please ensure that you take all items with you when you leave.

Should you wish to extend the birthday to include a lunch or dinner then we can cater for this in the main house.

Seating can be arranged inside it weather not permitting for an outside event or alternatively on our verandah at the font of the house with ample space for the kids to run around.  You can also look at booking a bouncing castle to keep the children entertained while you catch up with guests.

Should you wish to book the house as a part of your birthday party, this is booked on an hourly basis and includes:

  • Trestle tables and chairs for guests
  • Table cloths
  • Flower arrangement per table
  • Disposable cutlery
  • Disposable drinking cups

Should you wish to have glass wear ordered in there is an additional charge for this and a security bond for any loss or breakage will be taken and returned upon all glass wear returned to place of hire.  The cost is in addition and subject to numbers ordered which will be added on to your booking.



Due to COVID now being a part of our everyday lives, we no longer share items such as boots and helmets.  To that end all children riding must provide their own riding helmet and enclosed footwear.

Birthday Parties


How long are lessons

You can book lessons for 30 or 45 minute lessons. This is actual riding time. Due to COVID we require that riders meet us at the indoor arena.

When safe to do so, we will invite riders to arrive 10 – 15 minutes prior to their lesson to again tack up and lead their horse over to the arena. Currently we can not offer that additional service.

All children under 6 years or age will only have 30 minute bookings unless at the recommendation of one of our instructors.

We take riders from the age of 4.

What do I wear

Due to the impact of COVID during 2020 all riders now must provide their own Australian Standard riding helmet which must be within 5 years old.

Riders are also requested to bring and ride in riding gloves. Riders must wear either jodhpurs or long pants, no shorts, skirts or dresses.

No singlets please, t-shirt or long sleeved tops are fine.

Shoes must be closed in with a slight heel, no sandals, thongs or the like.

When would my lesson be cancelled

We have both an indoor and outdoor arena and can accomodate lessons during most circumstances.

We will cease lessons and reschedule for temperatures that exceed 35 degrees and in the event of severe rain, thunder or lightening for the safety of staff, horses and clients.

In the event of cancelled lessons we will issue credits or refunds.

Where do I go

Upon arrival, please enter via the horse and float entry not the main house. You will need a keycode to enter and exit the property 24/7.

If you do not have the keycode please text 0419 945 359 prior to arrival with your name and ride time and we will text you the code for entry.

Once in, drive up past the indoor arena, turn right and park near the truck and floats. Walk down to the indoor arena viewing area and staff will arrive there with your horse and greet you.

What days do you operate

We are closed Monday and Friday for the remainder of 2020.

We are generally closed on Public Holidays, if we operate there is a 20% surcharge on these days.

Weekends lessons run all day, we generally run 2 coaches on a Tuesday and Thursday after school and a ladies riding group on a Thursday evening.

We will be adding group lessons for chidlren on a Tuesday night from 2021 onwards.

Are there any restrictions on who can ride

We ask that you complete a risk waiver prior to riding. Any medical or health issues that you believe may affect your time on the horse please let us know.

At all times, prior to riding, if you are concerned about any aspect of your health that you feel may hinder your ability to ride please speak with your medical practitioner prior to booking.

Our maximum rider weight we can accommodate is 90kg.
